Originario rice is a round rice, characterised by its small size, round shape, poor cooking properties and stickiness. These characteristics make it the ideal ingredient for those preparations, such as desserts, where rice is the base of the recipe, to be mixed with other ingredients.
\nOriginario is characterised by a low amylose content, which gives it a low consistency and high glutinosity.
\nFor this reason, it releases starch during cooking and is particularly soft on the palate.
\nIt is also ideal for sushi, soups or timbales.<\/p>\n
